In the very agile and constantly evolving digital space, it is not always easy for companies to adapt their structures and processes to this environment. Young and dynamic start-ups often seem to have an advantage in adapting to such structures in the digital age. Nevertheless, digital start-ups can often face specific technological challenges that need to be overcome.
One of these challenges is the efficient and secure storage and archiving of data. As a company that works and handles sensitive, business-related data on a daily basis, the use of a high-tech storage solutions is one of our most important concerns here at Shikenso. Ensuring that the data we collect and analyse is protected from external interference, while at the same time being provided with the best possible performance for our workload at all times, is essential for us.
In cooperation with the hardware and data storage solutions company Western Digital, we have worked out in a case study how the capacity challenges of digital start-ups can best be countered through their products.
