The Esports World Cup 2025 is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 8 to August 24, 2025. The tournament will be hosting over 2000 players from all of the top esports organizations around the world. The tournament will be held at Boulevard Riyadh City, a premier venue in the capital. The Esports World Cup Foundation, established in 2023 and funded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, organizes the event.
The Esports World Cup 2025 will feature 25 tournaments across 24 different esports titles, making it one of the most expansive competitive gaming events to date.

Compared to last year, this year's tournament is featuring new titles, thus raising the stakes:
Chess: A significant addition to the lineup with the world's top chess grandmasters gearing up for the event
Valorant: Riot Games' tactical shooter joins the tournament, reflecting its growing popularity in the competitive scene.
Crossfire: This tactical first-person shooter is added to the roster, expanding the range of FPS games.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves: The classic fighting game series makes its esports debut with this latest installment.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: Replacing last year's Modern Warfare III, this new title continues the franchise's presence in the tournament.
The EWC 2025 will feature over 200 clubs from more than 100 countries, with 2,000 elite players competing across all of the aforementioned esports titles. Previously recognized as the “Club Support Program”, the Esports World Cup was partnered with 30 esports organizations last year, compared to 40 this year.
The total prize pool for the Esports World Cup 2025 is $70.45 million USD, making it the largest in esports history. This includes individual tournament rewards across 25 competitions as well as a $20 million Club Championship pool, where teams earn points based on performance across multiple titles.
