VRL NE: Polaris operator aims to solidify its position in the industry
Promod Esports is a tech-savvy, innovation led UK-based esports agency pursuing the goal of creating incredible experiences for their viewership and community. With top of the class activations, broadcasts and tournaments at grass root and international level, the agency wants to differentiate itself from other competitors in the space. Recently making headlines with the announcement of the partnership with Riot Games, Promod Esports is now the official licensed operator of the VALORANT Northern Europe Tournament Series as part of Riots Champions Tour for the next 3 years. Under the name VRL NE: Polaris, the highest level of competitive play in the regional VALORANT scene will be brought to players from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, and the UK.

Creating an attractive and sustainable league requires a touch of finesse, as you have to balance business-oriented goals with the expectations of your community. On the one hand, the production and creation of content and activations must be perfectly tailored to the target group for them to enjoy your broadcasts and to continue consuming it. On the other hand, you must make sure the content and activations you implement is also in line with the requirements of your brand partners and the goals you want to achieve for them. Promod Esports aims to establish an environment that allows brands and the community to experience entertainment moments together to build a strong foundation for years to come.
“Our focus is to grow esports by providing players and fans with epic entertaining moments. We're delighted to partner with Shikenso to analyse those upcoming moments during the VRL NE splits. Ensuring our brand partners have a clear understanding of how their support directly contributes to fans enjoyment is invaluable”, said Rob Black, CEO & Co-Founder at Promod Esports.
The strategic data partnership between Promod Esports and the Frankfurt based analytics startup Shikenso will help the agency understand how brand performance contributes to the value proposition of their league. Shikenso will apply its cross-platform AI analytics to provide a granular overview of Promod's digital inventory to fuel data-driven decision making. With latest image recognition technology, the agency will be equipped with state-of-the-art tools to support its long-term goals for its league, community and partners with solid data.
